WELCOME TO STAY GOLD SALON, A SAFE SPACE FOR ALL
Hi! Welcome to Stay Gold. We're a female-owned and operated contemporary hair salon located in Fullerton, California. Founded by stylists (and friends) Julie Mueller and Sara Katz in 2015, we wanted to cultivate an environment where clients could be comfortable, happy, and confident.
We strive to provide a relaxed, safe space where no one will be made to feel unwelcome based on the color of their skin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. While you are here in our studio, we want you to feel like a friend, and when you leave we want you to feel beautiful inside and out.

MEET THE STYLISTS
SARA KATZ (she/her)
Oh, Hello!
My name is Sara and I LOVE doing hair. I have been licensed in cosmetology since 2007 and I truly could not imagine building a career doing anything else. I specialize in corrective and creative coloring. I love passing on my knowledge to my clients so that they have a fully transparent and thorough understanding of what is going on during their hair appointment. I take every appointment as a opportunity to find what I could be doing better and strive to make every client feel confident in themselves through their hair.
I have worked all over Orange County over the last 13 years, but I have truly found a home in Fullerton. My hair bestie Julie and I have built Stay Gold Salon from the ground up, and want to continue to grow it for many years to come.
I live in Anaheim with my partner Chris and our two cats, Luna and Iris.

Hi friends! I'm Julie. Nice to meet you!
I've been licensed to do hair since 2007 and am still going strong! It has been a great experience founding Stay Gold Salon with Sara and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My favorite parts of being a stylist are doing creative coloring and precision haircuts. I love connecting with clients and making lasting friendships through my craft. I live a cruelty-free and vegan lifestyle and that is also reflected in my craft and the products that I use in the salon.
When I'm not working, you can find me attending live music shows, playing videogames, hanging with friends, and connecting with animals anywhere I can.
I live in Anaheim with my partner Mauro, four cats (Peaches, Penny, Jojo, and Luz), and an array of underwater creatures!
